CBC Friends and Family,
This Sunday we will be in the second message of our new summer series in Psalms. In Part 2 we will be looking at Psalm 103 to answer the question - "Why should I praise God?" Most would agree that praise is not always the first thing on your mind when life is happening.
I’ll be honest with you, when life hits me in the face – praise isn’t always the first thing on my mind either. Sometimes it’s my mortgage payment that’s due. Or my health or a relationship that’s a little sideways. It’s not always easy is it? David reminds us in Psalm 103 that praise is something we do – not just when we feel like – but even when we don’t feel like it. Just like with you and me – there were times in David’s life I’m sure he didn’t feel much like praising God. But he did it anyway. Why? In this incredible Psalm that we’re going to study this weekend – David gives us four motivations for praising the Lord whether we feel like it or not. And these four things are true in every one of our lives.
Don't miss worship, and bring a friend with you.
With A Shepherd's Heart,
